Frequently Asked Questions

Make sure to come hydrated, and bring extra water, a towel, and extra clothes as needed. Slip on shoes are helpful as no outside footwear will be allowed in the Sauna. 

The authentic practice is typically 3 rounds of approximately 12-15 minutes each. But we ask that you listen to your body and leave the hot room whenever you feel the need. In between rounds you cool off outside for approximately 5 minutes.  Winter air, cold water splashed on skin and the best is a roll in the snow when available!  This is known as a thermal cycle – Hot, cold, rest, rehydrate, repeat. 

Deliberate heat exposure has been utilized for thousands of years, and is enjoyed by many even today. That being said, you are entering a space that can reach temperatures from 170-220 degrees potentially. If you have health conditions that would make that kind of environment potentially triggering to a health concern, it is required of you to seek medical advice from your physician before participating. We'd love to have you, but use your best judgement. 

At public events, if you did not privately rent out the sauna for the hour, then there will most likely be others in there with you. But, this is also one of the joys of sauna.  The space is great to get to know someone new, make connections and learn from one another. Our motto is: "silence is the standard, but connection is encouraged"

We are happy to deliver to you wherever you are! Our standard delivery fee is $5/mile each way from Coopersburg PA if you are more than 10 miles away. To our discretion, if you are over a certain mileage, there might be certain rental time minimums we require to have a rental.

**With this being said, we are open to talking with you about other options that make sense for everyone! I.e, referring us to another rental in your area to split delivery costs... having us stay in the area overnight, etc. If you want us, we will make it work!**
